Rory Gentile hit a grand slam and Nate Bertolino hit his 3rd homer of the season as the Mariners rolled to a 10-1 victory in Essex. Ryan Marques picked up the win, going 5 innings allowing 1 run, Max Nesbit threw 2 scoreless innings of relief. Bertolino, Brett Cahill and Caulin Rogers each had a multi hit game. For Topsfield, Nolfi, Dyer, Lampkin and O'Leary all had hits.

Max Nesbit had 3 hits while Alex Ray and Brett Cahill each had a pair of hits. Adrian Frattini had a pinch hit 2 run double to break a 4-3 game open in the 5th. Rory Gentile went 6 innings allowing 3 runs for the win. Heath had 2 hits for Topsfield.
