Beverly defeated Hamilton 11 to 5 Tuesday night at Patton Park. With the game tied at 5, Beverly erupted for 4 runs in the 5th inning and 2 more in the 6th to earn the victory. Kyle Sewyck was credited with the win pitching 5 1/3 innings allowing 4 earned runs while striking out 4. Joe Gill threw a scoreless 1 2/3 innings to finish the game.

Mike Freni homered for Beverly. Jeff Giannino was 3 for 5 with 2RBI and Pat Doyle was 2 for 3 with 2RBI.

Judd Funchion hit a solo homer and a single for the Generals. Mark Provost was 2 for 3 with 2RBI.

Beverly improves to 3-6 and heads to Ipswich Friday night. Hamilton falls to 4-4 and hosts Topsfield Thursday.
