The Giants' Bats came alive in the bottom of the third. Nick Adams led off the inning with a mammoth shot to center that probably landed in a neighbor's back yard. When all was said and done the Giants just missed on back to back to back HR, but finished the 3rd with a 4-2 lead.
The Generals only recorded on hit in the fifth inning, but were able to take the lead with 3 runs. Tim O'Leary sparked the Generals rally with a lead off double, and later scored. Andre Painchaud got a 2 RBI single in the sixth finishing out the scoring. Jeff Jensen, who was able to settle down after Beverly's HR's, gave way to Judd Funchion who shut the door in the 7th, earning the save. Final score was 7-4.
