Rockport - 9, Beverly - 7

The Rockport Townies scored the first 9 runs of the game, and held on for a 9 to 7 victory over the Beverly Giants. Beverly loaded the bases in the bottom of the 7th, down by 2 runs. Brent Currier came on in relief to face Jeff Giannino. Giannino flew out to the warning track in deep center, and Rockport escaped with the win.

The Townies scored all of their runs in the first four innings. Chuck Anderson had 4 hits, and Brock Currier had 3.

For Beverly, Derek Scialdone had a three run homer, and Giannino had a solo shot.
