Rowley - 11, Beverly - 8

Beverly led 8 to 7 heading into the 7th inning but Rowley rallied for four runs to earn the 11 to 8 victory. Dave Leavitt was credited with the win in relief. Rowley is now 3-0 and Beverly sits at 1-2.

For Rowley, White(?) pitched the first 5 innings allowing 7 runs many of which were unearned. Leavitt pitched two innings allowing 1 run. Renzulli had 3 hits and made several exceptional plays at shortstop. Dan Knight and Walker added two hits apiece.

Beverly's offense was led by Ty Besse who had two hits, two runs, and two RBI. Rob Freni also pitched in with two hits. Roger Dragani took the loss in relief. Dragani pitched 2 scoreless innings before allowing 4 runs in the 7th.
