Beverly cut a 6 run Rockport lead to 7 to 5 in the bottom of the 5th inning, but Rockport added insurance runs over the next 2 frames to hold on for the win. Derek Osmond earned the victory. Kyle Sewyck was charged with the loss.

Adam Orlando, Marc Bouchie, and Chris Bouchie homered for Rockport. Pat Doyle and Nick Adams homered for Beverly.

Rockport clinches a playoff spot with the win, and Beverly is eliminated. The four playoff teams are set with Hamilton, Manchester, Ipswich, and Rockport and only seeding is left to be determined.
