Connor Sullivan got the win in 6 innings of work for the Generals. Rocky Pisa is charged with the loss for the Giants. Beverly got on the board first with a solo HR from Erik Drown in the the top of the second. The lead didn't last long as the Generals answered with 5 in the bottom half and two more in the third. Provost, Potter, and Maidment all delivered RBI's in the second. Love got a sac-fly in the third.
Beverly got two more in the fourth, Barracelli delivered an RBI single. The Generals got one in each of the next two to extend the lead to 9-3. Avon Stewart got an RBI double and Provost an RBI fielder's choice. In the sixth Beverly got 4 runs to cut the lead to 2 runs. Nick Adams got a huge 3-run HR to help the Giants' cause. That was as close as they'd come as the Generals put up a 3 spot in the bottom of the sixth to put the game away. Drinkwater pitched an impressive seventh to end the game.
Barracelli had 3 hits to lead the Giants. Drown and Adams contributed HR's. For the Generals, O'Leary and Jensen each had a multi-hit game. Potter and Provost each had 2 RBI's.
