Matt Rogers got his second complete game win for Topsfield against Hamilton on friday night. Both Rogers and Hamilton starter Funchion looked great early until Hamilton got on the board with 1 in the fourth. Topsfield came back behind a key double from Allen Hatfield (1/4 / 2B / 2RBI) to take the lead. Doug Hittinger also contributed going 2/3 with 1RUN and 1RBI. Hamilton threatened in the end, however Rogers picked a great time to record his only 2 strikeouts in the top of the seventh to hold on for a Tories win. Provost was 3/4 with a double and a run scored for Hamilton in the loss.
