Connor Sullivan picked up the win for the Generals, going five innings, allowing only three runs on five hits.

Kevin Michael started for the Chiefs, going six innings and recording 10 strikeouts, but was charged with the loss.

The Generals got a solo HR from Mark Provost in the first to break the ice. The Generals extended the lead with five more runs in the second.

The Chiefs got on the board with two in the bottom of the third to cut the lead to 6-2. Ant Hernandez got an RBI double to left that was followed by a Ryan Montecalvo RBI single.

In the fifth, the Generals extended the lead to 9-2. Jim Maloney hit a big bases loaded single that landed just over the left fielder’s glove that scored two. Bryan Vitale got a RBI sac-fly to finish out the Generals scoring.

Michael delivered a sac-fly in the bottom of the fifth to give the Chiefs their third run. Cam Charette came in to pitch two scoreless innings and seal the victory for the Generals.

Montecalvo had three hits to lead the Chiefs offense. The Generals had four players with multi-hit games. Jim Maloney stood out with five RBIs, Vitale added two RBIs and Jered Stewart contributed three hits and a walk.
