Generals 15 Tories 3

Hamilton defeated Topsfield by a score of 15-3 in six innings Friday night in Topsfield. Luke Painchaud went five innings for the win. BJ Weed pitched a complete game for Topsfield in taking the loss.

Jered Stewart put the finishing touches on a six run third inning for Hamilton with a grand slam to left-center. Jim Love showed he possesses a bear-like combination of strength and speed in clubbing his first career ITL HR in the sixth to round out the scoring on the night. Love, Jim Maloney and Mark Ruggiero had multi-hit games for the Generals while Weed, Max Travers and Doug Hittinger had RBI hits for the Tories.
