Tories split season series with Mariners

Topsfield took two from Manchester-Essex this past week by scores of 14-11 and 7-6. The first game played in Essex had BJ Weed getting a complete game win for the Tories. Alan Hatfield and Zack Lamkin were among a handful of Tories with multiple hits. Bertolino homered twice for Manchester Essex.

The 7-6 final was played at Proctor this past Friday. Matt Rogers got the win for the Tories. Topsfield jumped out to an early lead and Manchester tied the game in the sixth. The tories got a walk off rbi single from Hatfield.
