Manchester - 4, Beverly - 2

Mike Cain struck out 10 Giants and allowed only 2 runs (1 earned) in a complete game effort for the win.

Beverly struck first with two runs in the top of the first inning. Derek Scialdone led off the game with a homerun. Another run came across on a John Boyle grounder to shortstop. Cain would settle down after that and allow no more scoring for the rest of the night.

Joe Gill held the Mariners scoreless through three innings before they were able to plate two runs in the fourth. The runs scored on a Berkley walk and a Nicastro single.

In the fifth inning Graham led off with a double and was scored by a Bertolino single. Gill gave way to Dan O'Connell but the inherited runner would later score on a sacrifice fly by Hillenbrand. Erik Drown struck out three in a perfect 6th inning.

Cain retired the last five batters of the game to seal the victory.
