Ipswich - 14, Beverly - 13

The Ipswich Chiefs had a come from behind 14 to 13 win in a wild game on a very hot night at Linebrook Field. The game was tied at 10 heading into the 6th and final inning. Beverly struck for 3 runs in the top of the 6th. Mike Freni singled in two and Brian Chirco singled in one. In the bottom of the 6th Cash doubled in a run and Knox singled in a run to cut the lead to one. With the bases loaded and one out Michael was hit by a pitch to tie the game. Knox then scored on a wild pitch to win the game.

For Ipswich, Cadogan was 2 for 4 with 4RBI, Michael was 2 for 4 with 2RBI, Cash was 2 for 3 with 3 runs and 2RBI, Montecalvo was 2 for 4 with an RBI, and Knox was 2 for 4 with an RBI.

For Beverly, Erik Drown was 4 for 4 with a 3B and 3RBI. John Boyle was 2 for 3 with 3 runs and 2RBI. Kevi Harutunian and Mike Freni each had 2 hits and 2 RBI.
