The Chiefs bats couldn't get hot against Mike Drinkwater Thursday night.
The Chiefs were able to muster just two runs the whole game. 1 in the first on a Tom Radzim base hit scoring Kevin Michael. Kevin Michael would score in the second on an error by the General's 2ns baseman.
The Generals had the bats smoking against Chris Lane, the Chief's starter. Lane would go four innings, surrendering 9 hits, 7 runs (4 earned), while striking out 4 and walking 1. Dave Doucette would come on in the 6th, and surrendered 3 runs (2 earned), and striking out 3.
Jered Stewart(4 for 4), Tom Jones (2 for 3) and Reggie Maidment (2 for 3), would pace the offense for the Generals, both collecting 2 hits, and O'Leary again would take a Chiefs pitcher deep again, in the 3rd. Tom Jones also scored 3 of the 10 runs for HW.
The Chief's look to avenge the 4th loss of the year against Rockport this coming Sunday away in Rockport. The General's look for their 3rd win of the year on Sunday against Beverly.
