ITL Hamilton Generals jumps on ITL Ipswich Chiefs early and coasts to 8-2 win

ITL Hamilton Generals jumped out to an early lead on ITL Ipswich Chiefs and captured an 8-2 victory on Monday at 13 linebrook rd ipswich ma.  With five runs in the first three innings, ITL Hamilton Generals left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An RBI single by Brian Nicoll, an RBI single by Matt Cook, and an RBI single by Drew Taylor during the second inning fueled ITL Hamilton Generals' offense early.

Cam Borrelli paced ITL Hamilton Generals at the plate. Cam Borrelli went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the third inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Luke Painchaud brought the heat against ITL Ipswich Chiefs during his outing. ITL Ipswich Chiefs managed just two hits off of the ITL Hamilton Generals' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one during his six innings of work.

Nick Hawrylciw was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed five runs.

ITL Hamilton Generals closer Madness Drinkwater put away the final three outs to record the save.
ITL Hamilton Generals increased its lead with two runs in the third. Cam Borrelli homered to start the inning. That was followed up by Nicoll's single, bringing home Avon Stewart.

ITL Hamilton Generals piled on three more runs in the top of the sixth. Luke Wendt's double got things going, plating Matt Cook. That was followed up by Stewart's single, bringing home Taylor and Luke Wendt.
