Cashman's Walk-off Picture Perfect Ending In Rowley Rams's Victory Over Ipswich Chiefs

Rowley Rams took their game in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off at the end of the game to topple Ipswich Chiefs. The game was tied at six with Rowley Rams batting in the bottom of the seventh when Tim Cashman was struck by a pitch, driving in a run.

There was plenty of action on the basepaths as Rowley Rams collected 16 hits and Ipswich Chiefs had five.

Ipswich Chiefs got things started in the first inning when Greg Doucette doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, Rowley Rams tied things up at six when J. Cashman singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Rowley Rams tallied four runs in the fourth inning. Rowley Rams put the pressure on, lead by singles by Dylan Copeland, Cashman, and Jake Barressi.  Ipswich Chiefs scored three runs in the fifth inning. Ipswich Chiefs offense in the inning was led by RJ Libby and Jake Greaney, all driving in runs in the frame.

Dave Ingraham led the Rowley Rams to victory on the mound. He surrendered zero runs on one hit over two and a third innings, striking out one.  Greaney took the loss for Ipswich Chiefs. He lasted six and a third innings, allowing 16 hits and seven runs while striking out three.

Cashman started the game for Rowley Rams. He surrendered six runs on four hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out seven.  Rowley Rams totaled 16 hits. Dimitri Hunt, Mark Berkland, Barressi, Copeland, and Cashman all collected multiple hits for Rowley Rams. Hunt led Rowley Rams with four hits in five at bats. Rowley Rams was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Berkland had the most chances in the field with eight.  Doucette went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Ipswich Chiefs in hits.
