Ipswich Chiefs Falls to Rowley Rams After Seventh Inning Score

Monday's game against Rowley Rams was a heartbreaker for Ipswich Chiefs, as they lost the lead late in a 7-4 defeat. The game was tied at four with Rowley Rams batting in the top of the seventh when Lewi Lheureux singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

He lasted seven innings, allowing 12 hits and four runs while striking out seven.  Greg Doucette took the loss for Ipswich Chiefs. He lasted seven innings, allowing ten hits and seven runs while striking out two.

Rowley Rams racked up ten hits on the day. Cashman, J. Cashman, Justin Bolla, and Lheureux each collected multiple hits for Rowley Rams. Cashman led Rowley Rams with three hits in three at bats.
