Rowley Rams Runs Away With Early Lead in Victory

Hamilton Generals fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 9-5 loss to Rowley Rams on Thursday. Rowley Rams scored on a walk by CJ Ingraham and a fielder's choice by Tim Cashman in the second inning.

Rowley Rams got on the board in the second inning when Ingraham drew a walk, scoring one run.
Hamilton Generals notched three runs in the fifth inning. Hamilton Generals scored its runs on an RBI home run by Harrison O'Brien.

Rowley Rams scored four runs in the seventh inning. Ingraham and Cashman powered the big inning with RBIs.  Tim Moore earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for Rowley Rams. He lasted seven innings, allowing eight hits and five runs while striking out four.

Jake Lanciani took the loss for Hamilton Generals. He lasted five innings, allowing six hits and five runs while striking out two. Hamilton Generals launched one home run on the day. O'Brien had a homer in the fifth inning.

Hamilton Generals racked up eight hits in the game. O'Brien, Larry Saggese, and Brett Harring all managed multiple hits for Hamilton Generals. Harring, Saggese, and O'Brien each collected two hits to lead Hamilton Generals.

Rowley Rams totaled nine hits. Dylan Copeland and Ingraham all managed multiple hits for Rowley Rams. Copeland went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Rowley Rams in hits. Rowley Rams was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Joe White made the most plays with nine.
