Hamilton Generals Beats Topsfield Tories

Hamilton Generals wins contest against Topsfield Tories, 7-3.  Hamilton Generals got things started in the first inning when Larry Saggese drew a walk, scoring one run.

Hamilton Generals notched four runs in the second inning. Hamilton Generals's offense in the inning came from singles by Harrison O'Brien and Saggese and by Chris Huggett.  Sal Guarino got the win for Hamilton Generals. He went seven innings, allowing three runs on six hits and striking out five.
Tim Bransfield took the loss for Topsfield Tories. He went six innings, allowing seven runs on eight hits and striking out five.

Hamilton Generals collected eight hits. O'Brien and Brett Harring all managed multiple hits for Hamilton Generals. Harring and O'Brien each managed two hits to lead Hamilton Generals. Thomas Dowd led Hamilton Generals with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with eight stolen bases.

Tom Budrewicz led Topsfield Tories with two hits in four at bats.
