The Giants jumped out to a 9 to 0 lead in the top of the 2nd inning. The Generals cut the lead to 9 to 6 in the bottom of the 2nd. However, the Giants built the lead back up to 17 to 6 by the middle of the 6th. Hamilton managed 2 more runs in the bottom of the 6th before the game was called for darkness.

Rocky Pisa got the 6 inning complete game victory allowing 8 runs (2 earned) on 6 hits, 3 walks, and 3 hit batters while striking out 3. Luke Painchaud was charged with the loss.

John Boyle led the Giants' attack going 2 for 3 with 2HR and 6RBI. Also contributing were Sean Mitchell (3 for 4, 2RBI), Nick Adams (2 for 4, 2RBI), and Derek Scialdone (2 for 4, RBI).

For Hamilton, Jim Maloney hit a grand slam, while Conor Sullivan (2 for 2) and Mark Provost (2 for 3, RBI) contributed.
