The Giants jumped out to a 9 to 0 lead in the top of the 2nd inning. The Generals cut the lead to 9 to 6 in the bottom of the 2nd. However, the Giants built the lead back up to 17 to 6 by the middle of the 6th. Hamilton managed 2 more runs in the bottom of the 6th before the game was called for darkness.
Rocky Pisa got the 6 inning complete game victory allowing 8 runs (2 earned) on 6 hits, 3 walks, and 3 hit batters while striking out 3. Luke Painchaud was charged with the loss.
