The Townies took a 4 to 1 lead in the bottom of the first after two outs were recorded. Two singles were followed by three straight doubles by Chris Bouchie, Tommy Robertson, and Jeremy Spittle to drive in the runs. The Townies added two more in the fourth and two more in the sixth for the 8 to 2 victory.
Offensively, the Townies were led by Tommy Robertson (2 for 2, RBI, 2BB, SB), Brent Currier (2 for 4, RBI), Dan Greel (2 for 4, RBI), Chris Bouchie (1 for 3, 3RBI) and Jeremy Spittle (2 for 4, RBI).
For Beverly, Rocky Pisa took the loss allowing 6 runs in 4 innings. The Giants offense was paced by Kevin Harutunian (2 for 3, 2R) and Jeff Barricelli (1 for 2, 2RBI).
Tommy Robertson made the defensive plays in the night in the 7th inning when he robbed Connor Walsh and Sean Kelleher of homeruns into the woods in centerfield.
